	g	A 24/7 Automation system has been released! On Friday 9th March 2001 the new "Wave Cart" system was launched. This means patients at Prince Charles Hospital will be able to tune in when ever they want! Special guests included Jason Harrold from Red Dragon FM, the Merthyr Mayor Bernard Driscoll, North Glamorgan NHS Trust Chief Executive Robert Lewis and Alex Lester  from BBC Radio 2. Chris Davies, Station manager of Radio Firebird said: "This is going to be a big leap for Radio Firebird, but our priority are the patients and all members are very pleased that we can now entertain them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week..."
